Returns Policy

RETURNS

If you need to return an item purchased from our website, HapiPetz are here to help. We offer returns or exchanges for items returned within 30 days of purchase.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition in which it was received. It must also be in the original packaging.

Certain purchases are exempt from being returned, for example:

  • Perishable goods (food and flowers etc.),
  • Newspapers or magazines,
  • Gift cards,
  • Downloadable software products,
  • Some health and personal care items.

 To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Contact admin@hapipetz.com before returning any item. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain items/situations where only partial refunds will be granted, where applicable, for example:

  • Book with obvious signs of use,
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened,
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error,
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If the refund is approved, your refund will be processed and credited back into the account used to make the purchase. This can take up to 14 days to reflect in your account depending on your financial institution.

Late or missing refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, we urge you to double-check your account. If the credit does not reflect in your bank account or credit card, contact your financial institution to check when the credit will actually be passed.  There is often up to 10 days of processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items 

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on sale items.

Exchanges 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hapipetz@gmail.com and return the item to: 203 Salloum Way, Saskatoon, SK, S7W 0N1, Canada.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to the gift recipient, the gift recipient will receive a gift credit for the value of the returned item. Once the returned item is received by HapiPetz, a gift certificate will be mailed to the gift recipient.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to the gift recipient, we will be required to credit the original purchaser’s bank account with the refund amount.
